This weekend was soooo much fun and I loved that I got to spend it with my family. I'm not sure what I love more, fall or Christmas, its so hard to choose! But I guess you could say that fall fun is like prep for Christmas fun. It all just blends together into one big season of happiness and bliss. After a few days of food poisoning(Buffalo Wild Wings has lost our business forever) it was just time to get out and
I've been on a hiatus lately just getting some things in order around here. I also just hit a huge writers block and I let that get the best of me. Well Im back and I'm excited about writing my blog again. I guess it was just getting over that huge hump in my way that was the hard part. That thing in my head that told me it was pointless to blog again. I was away from my blog for months! How could I ever star
Weekend in a Flash-Cali’s Birthday!!! This weekend we celebrated Cali’s 4th birthday! I can’t believe our little princess is growing so fast. We had a whirlwind of a weekend planned for her and it all started with a slumber party. I made cupcakes for the girls to decorate and we had a confetti dance party. All the girls went to bed pretty early which made me happy I was pooped by the end of the nigh
Today the kids and I went on a shopping date with my mom. We actually had it planned for a week so I had imagined in my head strolling down the neat tidy and bright isles of Target, kids in cart acting ever so proper, and smiles plastered across our faces in excitement of our shopping journey. Let’s just say the shopping trip didn’t go as planned. We got out of the car and walked into Target. We immediate
Hey everyone, I hope you all had an amazing Easter! I know I did! To start the weekend off we took the kids to my mom in laws to dye eggs which is our newest Easter tradition. The kids absolutely love it! Of course I had to get a new dress for Easter Sunday so I went into a store called Cotton On. After about five stores with no success I really didn’t even expect to find something at this store plus I’d
My weekend was packed full of events. My husband was out on business so I really wanted to make sure I was nice and busy while he was gone. Somehow my weekend was even more eventful than I thought it would be. Friday we went to a strawberry farm with Noah’s class. I was so excited to also pick up some fresh kale and broccoli. That farm was so sweet. From there I bid my husband farewell and headed to my moms to
This morning I told the kids that we were going to see their new born cousin in the hospital. I was cleaning the kitchen up and Cali came in to talk. Cali- “Mommy, can you pleeeeeeaaasehave another baby?” Me- “No, are you crazy?” Cali- “But mommy you’re already fat!” Thanks Cali remind me to workout a little harder today:)
So I just woke up from a power nap, weird. Today I picked Noah up from school then took him straight to get a haircut where a really nice lady let me have one of her discount coupons at the checkout counter. Instead of paying $20 for a hair cut I paid only $10. I was excited about that but even more surprised by that strangers generosity. Then from there we went to Chic Fil A where they gave me an extra apple juice.
Spring Break was this past week and we wanted to take Noah and Cali to the zoo. My hubby worked all week but decided to take off Thursday so that we could go. I figured if we got there when it opened it would be less crowded. I'm sure all of the other Houston residents thought the same thing because there was a billion people who also decided to go to the zoo early that day. It was a little tough getting around w
I drove around running errands all day today. When I was buckling Cali into her carseat to run more errands she said, "Goooooshhhh this is so insensitive" I didn't know being strapped to a carseat took that much of toll on her.
